We’ve taken our much-loved Social Sips and created Social Sips X – just for Gen X … because 20-year-olds shouldn’t be the only ones having fun!

ABOUT SOCIAL SIPS

    Different bars around Brisbane, changing each time to keep things fresh and exciting! We’re open to suggestions and want everyone to feel involved in choosing the next spot!

  • WHEN

    regular events announced in advance. We’ll share details ahead of time so you can lock it in with your friends (or come along and meet new ones).

  • WHY

    Because nights out should be easy, fun, and about discovering new spots. Social Sips X is a new way to find bars you might normally overlook, enjoy new experiences, and share a great evening with friends—or meet some new ones along the way.

FAQs

  • Your ticket includes your first two drinks and some nibbles to share. Because we visit a different venue each month, the exact inclusions may vary — every spot offers something a little different!

  • Social Sips X is perfect for a night out with friends, but plenty of people rock up solo and are ready for a chat. It’s an easy, low-pressure way to meet new people and check out a new bar.

  • Social Sips X is created for Gen X, so most of our guests are in their 40s, 50s or early 60s. But we won’t check your ID at the door! If you like the idea of a relaxed, social night out, you’re welcome.

  • We choose venues with great atmosphere, drinks, and something a little different. We rotate locations across Brisbane and are always open to suggestions — feel free to reach out!

  • It’s busiest for about 2 to 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to mingle and enjoy what the venue has to offer. Many guests choose to stick around after the event and keep the night going.

  • It’s not explicitly for singles — Social Sips X is just as much for friends, partners, or groups. That said, it’s a relaxed way for singles to meet each other too.
