    Evening meetups, once a month, no set day. We’ll announce each event in advance so everyone has time to plan and join in.

    This is a new way to discover spots you might normally overlook. You don’t have to be a "bar lover", just someone who enjoys new experiences and good company!

what to expect on a night out with social sips…

From the moment you arrive, we’ve got you covered. You’ll be greeted at the door with a warm welcome (and a token for your first drink!) before heading in to grab your drink and start mingling. The night unfolds from there — with drinks in hand, food making its way around, and plenty of chances to meet new people. By the end of the night, you’ll have discovered a new venue, made new friends, and already be thinking about the next Social Sips event!

  • SASHA KRATZMANN

    CO-FOUNDER

    After living in Dublin, Sasha came home with one big idea – bring people together to explore Brisbane’s best bars! She works in marketing by day and is sipping on an espresso martini (current fav) by night.

  • We know most clubs mean reading a book, going for a run, or doing awkward icebreakers — and that’s not for everyone. Social Sips is easy. Just show up, discover a new Brisbane bar, and chat with friends or people you haven’t met yet!

  • Your ticket includes your first drink and some nibbles to share. Because we visit a different venue each month, the exact inclusions may vary — every spot offers something a little different!

  • Everyone’s welcome at Social Sips! While we often have more women come along, we get a great mix — plenty of guys have joined in too.

  • Yes, you can come by yourself! Social Sips is perfect for coming solo. It’s a great way to meet new people, make friends, and enjoy discovering Brisbane bars

  • There’s no official age limit, but most attendees tend to be in their 20s and 30s — it’s a great fit for that crowd. Check out Social Sips X for an older crowd!

  • We choose venues with great atmosphere, drinks, and something a little different. We rotate locations across Brisbane and are always open to suggestions — feel free to reach out!
